Teenagers are notoriously hard to impress with folk albums, so it says much about Harriet's debut album that it went straight from the car CD player to daughter's bedroom stereo.

While part of the attraction may be teenage solidarity - Harriet is still some way short of her twentieth birthday - it's also a tribute to the quality of piano accordion playing and singing shown here.

"Eyes Wide Open" blends traditional, contemporary, and self-penned tunes with a careful selection of songs and musical support from Phil Cunningham, Ed Boyd and Mark Maguire.
