The St Patricks Show, Daneside Theatre, Congleton

On a night of full on Irish dance by the Shannon Dancers and traditionally punchy favourite tunes by the Middlewich Paddies - Harriet Bartlett, by way of total contrast, introduced an eloquence and grace to the show which served to balance the night perfectly.

Harriet has a unique 'coyness' about her presence on stage, combine that with stunning and seemingly effortless dexterity on the accordion, plus entrancing vocals and it makes for a quite uplifting experience for this most fortunate of audiences.

Add to this the occasional 'amusing' anecdote in between tunes and it all adds up to a wonderfully rounded performance that simply goes by far too quickly!!
